film industry since 2016. His remarkable work on the short film "Embedded" by Mostafa Soleimani, garnered
two nominations for Best Sound Designing from ISFA ( Iranian short film association ) and TISFF ( Tehran international short film festival ) showcasing his talent in creating captivating auditory experiences. With experience in both Iranian
and American short films, Kian has proven his expertise as a sound designer. Currently based in San Diego, California, he continues to passionately pursue his craft, bringing his skills and commitment to every project he undertakes, enriching the cinematic experience for audiences.

Kian Hejazi, born in Tehran, Iran in January 1981, moved to San Diego, California at 18 to pursue education and broaden horizons.
Discovering a passion for music and sound production after majoring in Graphic Design, he returned to Iran in 2010 and co-founded Tehran's renowned Toranj Studios with Farshad Pasdar, specializing in Rock and Metal genres for the Iranian music industry.
Over the past several years, he has been actively involved in the production and co-production of numerous music albums and individual tracks, primarily within the rock and metal genres.
His deep love and passion for sound production in the film industry have earned him two nominations for Best Sound Designing at TISFF2018 and ISFA2018. for the short film "EMBEDDED'. Additionally, he received a nomination at ISFA2021 for Best Adapted Screenwriting for his short film "Wrong Time, Right Place."
Currently residing in San Diego, California, Kian continues his work in post-production audio and on-site sound recording.
